I really love hosting dinner parties. Cooking, decorating, cocktailing, being festive in general––all special stuff. So with the recent acquisition of some new friends and the onset of my favorite season, it was far too fitting to host a long overdue feastival, which we dubbed The Great Feastivus Autumnus. Dressed in our best flannel attire and accessorized with the most perfect cozy cocktails (apple cider margaritas…heyyyy) all thirteen of us culinarily collaborated full-force to create one hell of a meal:
Of the five feastivals we’ve hosted at the Treehouse, we utilized our kitchen like I’ve never seen before. I swear, every pot, platter, and bowl was put to work multiple times over. You should’ve seen the assembly line we had going for the apple cake dessert. It was a thing of beauty. *sauce, cake, sauce*
At one point I looked over my shoulder and found some of the boys eating the pork roast straight off the bone and dipping every last bit of sweet potato and roasted yukon golds they could salvage in the fatastic meat drippings. #classy
Another highlight was enjoying good laughs and great music during the onset of our devastating food comas, a sign of yet another Feastival success!
